TOKAIRO EXPANDS TOKOPEN PARTNER
PROGRAMME
- Major development of firm's reseller channel
activity
An
expansion of their TokOpen Partner programme has been
announced by leading document management and workflow
solutions developer Tokairo - www.tokairo.com.
The expansion features online new product
and product update downloads from a secure Tokairo web
server, as well as a range of enhanced training and sales
and marketing support options, and is a major development
of the company's reseller channel activity.
"The success of our channel operations
has always been based on a combination of the quality
of our partners and the quality of our partner programme,"
says Tokairo director Treve Wearne. "We now have
a network of resellers throughout the UK, Europe - as
far away as Malta - and the US, and it is growing all
the time. We expect the expansion of the programme to
make a significant impact on our channel operations -
providing additional support to our existing partners
and leading to the recruitment of new ones".
The TokOpen product suite is continually
developed and enhanced, and partners now have secure access
to a Tokairo web server for all upgrades as well as full
new products - at no charge.
For example, latest updates available for
download this month includes MySQL support for TokOpen,
and MySQL and FTP document retrieval support for TokOpen
Web. TokOpen Fax is now compatible with GoldFax, and Sorting
Office enhancements include ability to read tables on
scanned documents via the DOKuSTAR engine v.3.2 - essential
for invoice applications - and the removal of the need
to use Kofax Image Controls for batch indexing. This follows
a re-write with the Accusoft toolkit.
Still in testing and available soon is a major enhancement
of Sorting Office, which will shortly be a .Net service.
Being service based, it can be remotely monitored using
the event log without requiring the server to be logged
in.
Sorting Office Remote Comms is also being
developed as a .Net service, removing the requirement
for a logged-in user running the comms application and
supporting upload to a central via FTP. Also to be released
soon is the TokOpen full text Web services. This is a
Web application that enables full text searching via Web
Services instead of DCOM.
Also available to the channel is a wide
range of sales and marketing tools, such as case studies,
ROI and price calculator and product literature and web
collateral. Partners have a dedicated channel manager
who provides sales, marketing and technical help.
Other key feature of Tokairo's TokOpen partner
programme include over £25,000 worth of TokOpen
system licences for internal and demonstration use, and
over £3,000 worth of sales and pre-sales support
training. There is also intensive TokOpen and document
management trainining at Tokairo's training centre, issue
of qualified leads, and regular newsletters and bulletins.
Unlike most other organisations, Tokairo
proactively protects the relationships of partners with
their customers and prospects. This is handled via a secure
registration process that ensures all direct approaches
to Tokairo are automatically referred back to the partner.
Once a TokOpen prospect is registered, the partner's investment
of resource is fully protected.
